HISTORY:

A piece of local history can be rebuilt throught Zoello Restaurant, situated in Settecani, at the crossroads between Castelnuovo, Castelvetro and Spilamberto, that since 1938 welcomes foreigners and local lovers of true traditional Modena's cuisine.

The activity was started by Zoello Vandelli especially with the mass product's sale of its own production: lard, mortadella, tap flour, oil for lighting, salt and tobacco, quinine State. A nice ventilated pergola invited to stop and eat something in the shade, and soon the small shop became a little restaurant serving handmade pasta, fried cod, chicken, and all the traditional dishes made by the wise hands of grandmother Imelde, Zoello's wife.

During these years gradual expansions occurred to this little known "Trattoria Zoello" where many lunches and wedding ceremonies took place.
The familiarity and the genuineness of the service is not changed by the size of this complex which now can keep up to 230 people and over 120 guest in the modern hotel, with every comfort. More than seventy years of catering and hospitality experience are the Albergo-Ristorante Zoello's strength, always reference of quality and tradition.
